As the civic landscape changes rapidly, youth and other catalysts on the frontlines of the global movement against inequality and closed space are working in the gap between traditional institutions and government. If we are to succeed in supporting their fight, organizations must adapt their approaches for support. 

A MOVEMENT MINDSET means moving away from aid and towards Solidarity: 

> Resourcefulness that supports long-term efforts and structural change
> Nimbleness that enables responsiveness and amplification as circumstances change
> Decentralization that helps us work with nontraditional structures like movements and organic networks
> Leadership investment so that ideas can grow from anywhere
> Connectedness so that we're working towards unity and collaboration for maximum use of resources.
